It has been an emotionally challenging week. Let's start with Tuesday, I worked late to learn about Weed Patrol so that we can get that flowing smoothly. I thought about calling my husband and offering to pick up our oldest on the way home, but I figured he already had him, so I skipped it. The twins were nearly asleep so I left the truck running while I started to unload it. I manged to lock them in it, thankfully it was running and the air conditioning was on. I called the Sheriff's Department, and they informed me that they don't open doors anymore. I call two locksmiths, one said he was over an hour and a half away, and I got no answer at the second. I was unable to get a hold of the Fire Department to see if they are able to unlock doors. Daddy came to the rescue, and was able to get it open.
Wednesday, I had to pick our oldest up from school early because has was running away from the teacher screaming and just being unresponsive. The last two weeks at school had been pretty good.
Thursday the school called because He was bitten at school by another child. At least he wasn't the cause of the problem this time.
Friday Brylan had to come to work with me because he had no school, and he was a total PITA. We headed to Tucson after work, and spent the weekend there.
Saturday morning I found out one of my Dad's cousins thought she was having a stroke so she went to the emergency room, and they did scans, she's claustrophobic so no fun, and found a brain tumor. She had to cancel vacation plans, her doctor canceled he driver's license, and hopefully she hears from someone by Tuesday so they can schedule a biopsy to confirm if it is benign or malignant.
Sunday as we were headed home, my Dad who is in Texas visiting my Grandma called. He said they were out visiting some of my Grandma's friends, weren't able to get back to Grandma's house because the roads were closed due to a fire. So they stayed at my grandma's daughters house.
Monday morning he called to say a friend of the guy who lives across the street from my Grandma got into their neighborhood and that her house was gone. The neighbor's was still ok as long as the big pine tree didn't fall on the house. Today isn't over yet, but I'm hoping that is the last of the bad news for quite a while.
