*Sigh*
Teething, a part of raising children no parent looks forward to. A parent of twins doubly so.
My youngest began teething the beginning of October, he had two of them working there way out. So needless to say I have had a super drooly, constantly needed to be held, grumpy monster. Well, Aythan caught on to what he was doing and in true first born twin fashion he started teeth about two weeks later.
So now I had two super needy, drooly babies. On October 26th, Aythan won the race to the first tooth, and some relief from the constant whining came with it. Cayden who started first finally had his first tooth cut through on November 1st.
I had one day of nice, calm, happy babies before it was back to the whining monsters. Aythan has forgotten how to sleep though the night since Halloween, and has woken each night at 12:00 or 12:30 and again between 4 and 6. Cayden, who seems to be the most miserable during the day, and will only sleep if he is being held. Thankfully he sleeps all night and wakes around 5 or 6.
We stayed in Tucson this past weekend to visit with family, and came home on Sunday. When we returned home Mom had about 4 hrs of sleep in the past 3 days, and both of the twins each had a new tooth to join their first, but had picked up runny noses. No baby enjoys the booger sucker, poor things. I only had to get up once last night to feed Aythan around 3 because thankfully Daddy took Cayden when he woke up this morning around 5. It is amazing how much having a few hour stretch of sleep helps.

Today started off well with mild tempered babies, we had a few rough patches. Poor guys just feel yucky, and mommy still has a bit of a headache. I'll be crossing my fingers that tonight we all sleep well.
